Usage Note
Nichilista describes a person who rejects all moral, religious, or political authority and believes life has no intrinsic meaning — from the philosophy of Nietzsche and the 19th-century Russian movement. It is an epicene noun: il nichilista (m) and la nichilista (f) share the same form. The plural is i nichilisti (m) / le nichiliste (f).
