Molo refers to a jetty, pier, or quay extending into the water at a harbour or marina. It differs from banchina (quayside, the flat area along the shore) in that a molo typically projects outward. Common in port city contexts: attraccare al molo (to moor at the pier). The plural is regular: moli.
