Usage Note

Minimamente is most commonly used in negative constructions: non mi ha minimamente sorpreso (it didn't surprise me in the slightest). In positive contexts it means 'at the very least' or 'even minimally'. It is more emphatic than poco (a little) and adds a nuance of 'not even to the smallest degree'.
