lavorato

worked, processed; crafted

adjective lah-voh-RAH-toh Rare

Usage Note

Lavorato is the past participle of lavorare used as an adjective, meaning that something has been shaped, processed, or crafted. Oro lavorato means wrought gold; legno lavorato means worked or carved wood. It can also function as a noun (i lavorati = processed goods). Do not confuse with lavoratore (worker) or with the verb form ho lavorato (I have worked).
