Usage Note
Insospettato describes something — a talent, a connection, a problem — that was not suspected or anticipated: una capacità insospettata ('an unsuspected ability'). It should not be confused with insospettabile ('above suspicion'), which means a person cannot be suspected of wrongdoing. The adjective agrees in gender and number normally.
