ingiusto

unjust

adjective een-JOOS-toh Rare

Also means

unfair

Usage Note

Ingiusto is formed with the negative prefix in- + giusto (just, fair). Its noun form is l'ingiustizia (injustice). In everyday Italian it expresses moral disapproval: è ingiusto! ('it's not fair!'). Do not confuse with ingiustificato (unjustified), which is stronger and more formal.

Examples

"Quella decisione mi sembra ingiusta."

Natural Translation

That decision seems unfair to me.
