Usage Note
Immediato describes something happening without delay or directly adjacent in space or time. The adverb form is immediatamente. A common phrase is nell'immediato futuro ('in the immediate future'). Do not confuse with istantaneo, which stresses an instantaneous flash rather than the absence of delay.
