Usage Note

Floreale describes anything relating to or decorated with flowers — motivo floreale (floral pattern), decorazione floreale (floral decoration). In art history, stile floreale is the Italian term for Art Nouveau (also called Liberty in Italian, after the London shop). The adjective is invariable for gender (un disegno floreale / una stampa floreale), changing only for number: floreali.
