fantastico
fantastic
adjective fahn-TAHS-tee-koh Rare
Origin: From Latin phantasticus, from Greek phantastikos (able to imagine).
Also means
great
Usage Note
Fantastico carries both the literary sense of 'belonging to fantasy' (un racconto fantastico = a fantasy story) and the colloquial exclamatory sense of 'wonderful, great' (fantastico! = fantastic!). As an adjective it inflects: fantastica (f), fantastici (m pl), fantastiche (f pl) — the -h- preserves the hard 'k' sound.
Examples
"Hai fatto un lavoro fantastico!"
Natural Translation
You did a fantastic job!
