Eccentrico describes a person or behaviour that deviates noticeably from the norm — quirky or unconventional rather than clinically abnormal. Un personaggio eccentrico is a colorful, unusual character. In physics and mechanics it also describes an off-centre shaft or motion (moto eccentrico). The masculine plural is eccentrici, feminine eccentriche.
