Usage Note
Canadese is a two-form adjective and noun: canadese (singular, both genders) and canadesi (plural). As a noun, un canadese / una canadese means 'a Canadian'. The country is il Canada (masculine). Note that in Italian, canadese can also informally refer to a type of folding tent (una tenda canadese, a ridge tent or A-frame tent).
