Bavarese is both a noun ('a Bavarian person') and an adjective ('Bavarian'). Like most nationality adjectives ending in -ese, it has a single form for masculine and feminine: un uomo bavarese, una donna bavarese. In culinary contexts it can also refer to la bavarese (or bavarois), a chilled cream dessert of French-German origin.
