Usage Note
Autunno is masculine (l'autunno, plural gli autunni). Of the four seasons, l'autunno and l'inverno are masculine while la primavera and l'estate are feminine. Seasons take no article after in: in autunno (in autumn), but nell'autunno del 2020 (in the autumn of 2020) takes the article.
