Usage Note

Addire survives almost only in the reflexive addicersi (also addirsi) and mainly in the third person: non si addice a lui ('it does not suit him'). It is formal and literary; everyday speech prefers stare bene a or essere adatto a. Present forms: si addice, si addicono.
