Also means
feel
Usage Note
Accusare means to accuse, but it also surprisingly means to feel a physical symptom: accusare un dolore is 'to feel a pain'. The construction accusare qualcuno di names the charge, as in lo accusano di furto. It takes avere in compound tenses.
Examples
"Lo accusano di aver mentito."
Natural Translation
They accuse him of having lied.
Literal Translation
Him they-accuse of to-have lied.
